End of Year POWERPOINT Assignment

As discussed in class, you will be completing one final project for me before the end of the year. In this final assignment, you will be writing about your Grade 6 year (in short, a YEAR IN REVIEW 2009-2010). Using Powerpoint, you will be writing about the following items on a separate slide (each number at the bottom represents a slide):

NOTE: The background of each slide should reflect your personality. For example, last year Reilley used animals for her backgrounds because she loves animals.

Please save your work on a USB, then on the due date I will download your file on my 80 GB USB so I can give back your USB. When you save your presentation, please save it with the following name: "NAME - Grade 6 Year in Review". For example, Victoria will save her file with the following name, Victoria - Grade 6 Year in Review. Ben will save his file with the name, Ben - Grade 6 Year in Review.
  1. Title Page (Title: "My Grade 6 Year: 2009-2010" By: "Your Name")
  2. My Grade 6 Experience: on this slide, you will write (in paragraph form) about your grade 6 experience. For example, how your year started, what happened in the middle, and how you feel about the year ending.
  3. Favourite and Least Favourite Subjects: on this slide, you can use point form, you have to list your favourite and least favourite subjects
  4. Likes and Dislikes: on this slide, you can use point form, you have to list your 'likes' and 'dislikes' about anything in our classroom
  5. Friends: on this slide, write about your classmates who you hung out with the most (why you enjoyed their company).
  6. Most Memorable Moment: in paragraph form, write about at least one moment in this year that you will never forget (ie: achieving a grade, a trip you liked, learning something in my class, etc.)
  7. Most Embarassing Moment: in paragraph form, write about an embarassing moment that you experienced this year (if you can't think of one, explain a fear that you had in our class)
  8. Most Funny Moment: in paragraph form, write about a funny moment (or moments) that you will never forget about that happened this year
  9. Favourite Saying: on this slide, you will write your favourite saying. For example, Mr. C says "Foolish Boy!"
  10. Letter to Mr. Contiga (Minimum 1 slide, could be more than 1): in paragraph form, write a letter to Mr. Contiga about your experience in his classroom. For example, how you felt being in his class, what you liked about his class, Mr. C's teaching style, anything you want to tell Mr. C before you officially leave his class at the end of the year, etc.)
  11. EXTRA Slides: you are welcomed to add any slides that you feel you need to add (just make sure that the "Letter to Mr. Contiga" slide is the last one of your Powerpoint Presentation).
