For each THESIS Statement, you are going to create a brainstorm page...for each brainstorm page you will list as many reasons supporting your THESIS statement.
On a separate sheet of paper (for each THESIS statement), you will write your THESIS Statement, then write your top 3 supporting sentences/body paragraphs below the THESIS statement...it should look like the following:
THESIS: Fish, although eaten by some, is a food not liked by many people

BODY PARAGRAPH #1: Some people don't eat fish because of its distinct odour.

BODY PARAGRAPH #2: Antoher reason why people dislike eating fish is its unusual taste.

BODY PARAGRAPH #3: The final reason why people don't like eating fish is the amount of bones (it's an obstacle to eat).

Since it's a snow day today, I feel like giving you....NO HOMEWORK! I mean, I could easily give a journal entry but I'll save that for tomorrow. Enjoy your day off! By the way, for those that think they can read minds and you thought that you just read mine, well you're wrong! Just because you didn't get homework today, doesn't mean that a "storm" is brewing...not this time!
