Secondly, I wanted to wish all my students a very Merry Christmas. If you're reading this on the 25th, I hope you're enjoying the time with your family and enjoying the food as well! If you're reading this after the 25th, I hope you enjoyed the food and festivities!

Day 71: Last Day before the Holidays

Day 69 & 70: Yesterday and Today...sorry for the very late post

My apologies for not posting yesterday, as it was clear what the only thing on the agenda was (preparation for the Math Test you wrote today).

I have marked the tests and the average was a 74%. Overall, good job! I can call most of you "Little Warriors" as most of you achieved above 75%.

Journal #22 -- TOPIC (If Mr. C gave you a metal bar, matches, and a piece of cloth, what would you invent with these 3 items?)

Journal #23 -- TOPIC (It is Christmas Eve. You are resting on the couch, when suddenly you hear a noise...you look at the fireplace and notice some ashes falling...suddenly, you see a guy in a red suit and hat, with black boots. Create a short story...)

Journal #24 -- TOPIC (You are at a park and you stumble upon a bottle, but not any ordinary bottle, it says "Genie". You throw the bottle on the ground and a genie emerges...she tells you that you have 1 wish only! What would you wish for? Here's the catch...you CANNOT WISH for any of the following: extra wishes, money, house, car, clothes, super powers...)

Journal #25 -- TOPIC (Conjoined twins..they are attached to each other. If you were conjoined with one of your classmates for a day, who would you choose as your twin from our class? Explain your day with your twin, starting from the time you line-up to the time you get dismissed).

Journal #27 -- TOPIC (Poetry Time!): Write a poem (one that rhymes) about your 4 months in Mr. C's class so far, from September - December. Write about your experience thus far in the school year. Incorporate things such as the first week of school, subjects, funny moments, friends, etc.

Journal #28 -- TOPIC (2011...Am I Ready?): For this journal entry, you will write about the upcoming NEW YEAR - 2011. Are you looking forward to the new year coming? Write about things that you are looking forward to in the upcoming second-half of the school year. Include the following topics, as well as anything that comes to your mind while writing the entry: Things you are looking forward to, your school marks, your improvement as a person, the remaining 6 months left in Mr. C's class, etc.
